Miguel A. Quiliano arrives in Barcelona for his 3-month Secondment at BBT-UPC

Bio-Tune Experienced Researcher Miguel A. Quiliano (UPC, Perú) has arrived in Barcelona for a 3-month at Dr. Carles Mas-Moruno's laboratories at the Biomateriales, Biomechanics and Tissue Engineering Grup (BBT-UPC, Spain).

The secondment will comprise the synthesis of aptamers and peptides and their use for surface functionalization. In detail, the stay will consist of synthesing of specific antimicrobial molecular structures, the purification and instrumental characterization of the synthesized structures, their functionalization and the characterization of the immobilized structures.

Dr. Quiliano will be involved as an ER at BBT-UPC during the period that goes from 23rd April, 2023 to the 21st July, 2023.
