Aukrit Luangpattarawong, a PhD student at the The Biomaterials Engineering group (bioMEG - UoB, UK) just began his 3-month secondment at Instituto de Nanosistemas, Universidad Nacional de San Martín (INS-UNSAM).

Aukrit Luangpattarawong, a PhD student at the The Biomaterials Engineering group (bioMEG), University of Bristol (UK) under the supervision of Prof. Bo Su, has recently arrived to Buenos Aires (Argentina) for a 3-month secondment at Instituto de Nanosistemas, Universidad Nacional de San Martín (INS-UNSAM), under the supervision of Dr. Diego Pallarola, in the Advanced Biosensors Group.

During his time in Buenos Aires, Aukrit will collaborate with researchers at UNSAM on the characterization of bacterial adhesion to nanotextured surfaces. Using advanced biosensors, he will study the antibacterial mechanisms of these nanotextured surfaces.

Aukrit's secondment runs from October 1st to December 29th, 2024.
