Saifuddin Aziz, 3-month secondment at BBT-UPC in Barcelona

Bio-Tune Early Stage Researcher Saifuddin Aziz (UGM, Indonesia) has just began her 5-month secondment at the Biomaterials, Biomechanics and Tissue Engineering Research Group (BBT-UPC, Spain), under the supervision of Dr. Carles Mas-Moruno and Dr. Anna Díez-Escudero.

During his secondment, Aziz  will be developing a 3D-printed hydroxyapatite material functionalized with antibacterial peptides. This secondment greatly adds to his nowledge in the field of antibacterial scaffolds, which is his area of expertise and plays a big role in his PhD thesis.

Student Saifuddin Aziz will stay at the BBT-UPC laboratories from March 2nd to May 25th 2024.
