Ivan Arie Wahyudi joins the Univeristy of Glasgow for a 3-months secondment

ER Ivan Arie Whayudi (UGM, Indonesia)  arrived to a couple of weeks ago for Glasgow (UK) for a 3-month secondment at the Centre for the Cellular Microenvironment (CeMi, University of Glasgow), under the supervision of Prof. Matt Dalby.

During his stay, Ivan will use 3D-printed CaP scaffolds and functionalize them with PEA + FN + BMP-2 to investigate and characterize after coating them. He also intends to undertake other projects, such as: Osteogenic differentiation by seed MSCs (Mesenchymal Stem Cells) onto the fully coated scaffolds (PEA + FN + BMP2); Use the Alamar Blue assay to measure cell proliferation; Differentiation studies using qPCR Analysis and Immuno staining; and also Calcium deposition analysis. 

 This secondment takes place from September 1st to November 30th, 2024.
