Katherine Peñaranda, third secondment in UNICAM

PhD student Katherine Peñaranda (UPC, Perú) has just arrived to Camerino for a 1-month secondment in UNICAM (Italy), under the supervision of Dr. Roberto Spurio. This is the third part of a series of split secondments carried out by the ESR throughout the project.

During this time, Kathy will be working in the preparation and quantification of S. aureus lysates. She will focus on standardizing the ELONA technique under UNICAM conditions and testing the interactions between S. aureus lysates and selected aptamers..

Katherine's secondment has been running from March 1st to April 7th, 2024, both included.
