Mona Sari, PhD in Physics

BioTUNE's ESR Mona Sari has successfully defended her PhD Thesis on the "Development of Scaffold and Gel Preparation Based on Bioceramics from Abalone Mussel Shells (Haliotis Asinina) and Honeycomb Biopolymer for Biomaterial Applications" and is officially a Doctory in Physics by the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of the UGM.

Mona Sari (Universitas Gadjah Mada, UGM, Indonesia) successfully defended her PhD Thesis on the "Development of Scaffold and Gel Preparation Based on Bioceramics from Abalone  Mussel Shells (Haliotis Asinina) and Honeycomb Biopolymer for Biomaterial Applications" and officially became a Doctory in Physics by the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of the UGM, on January 20th, 2023.

The thesis, co-directed by Prof. Yusril Yusuf (FMIPA), Prof. Ika Dewi Ana (Faculty of Dentistry, FKG), and Dr. Chotimah (FMIPA), was deffended under the Doctorate in Physics Programme of the FMIPA.

Mona Sari was an ESR of the BioTUNE project and carried on a 5-month secondment at BBT-UPC (Spain), under the supervision of Dr. Carles Mas-Moruno and Prof. Maria-Pau Ginebra.
