Nerea García de Albéniz, 3-month secondment at Dr. Diego Pallarola's laboratories in Argentina

Early Stage Researcher (ESR) Nerea García de Albéniz (BBT-UPC, Spain) is in Argentina for a 3-month secondment at Instituto de Nanosistemas (INS, UNSAM), under the supervision of Dr. Diego Pallarola.

During this time, Nerea will be working on the development of microelectrodes for real-time monitoring of cell and bacterial response. These microelectrodes will be coated with a cell instructive and antibacterial multifunctional peptidic platform. The cell response in the presence of the peptide will be measured by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy technique.

Nerea García de Albéniz, a PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Carles Mas-Moruno (BBT-UPC), will stay at Dr, Pallarola's laboratories from February 9th to May 9th, 2023, both included.
