Yijie Lie arrives to Indonesia for a 1-month secondment

Yijie Lie, a PhD student from INSERM (France) under the supervision of Dr. Philippe Lavalle and Dr. Engin Vrana, has just arrived at Prof. Ika Dewi Ana's laboratories at Universitas Gadjah Mada (Indonesia) for a 1-month secondment.

She has been working on the development of antimicrobial polyelectrolyte coating on medical-associated substrates in France, for her PhD thesis. During her secondment, she will applie the polyelectrolyte coating on Prof. Dewi Ana's research team's product and will also perform some microbiology experiments to validate the coating efficacy. Finally, she will also learn fundamental knowledge to fabricate scaffolds for dental applications. 

The secondment dates go from the 19^th of April until the 24^th of May 2024 (both included).
