Yijie Jane Li, PhD by Université de Strasbourg

BioTUNE's secondee Yijie Jane Li successfully defended her PhD Thesis on September 25th, 2024, at Université Strasbourg in France.

The thesis, directed by Dr. Philippe Lavalle and Dr. Engin Vrana, was centered on the "Engineering and Application of Antimicrobial Polyelectrolyte Coatings: Development with Novel Coating Devices", a collaboration between INSERM - Uni. Strasbourg  "Biomaterials and Bioengineering" Lab and SPARTHA Medical (CIFRE PhD).

Dr. Li was an ESR of the BioTUNE project and carried on a 1-month secondment at Universitas Gadjah Mada (Indonesia), under the supervision of Dr. Ika Dewi Ana. You can read more about it by following this link.
